ICON BUILDER GEL (CLEAR)

Builder gel is a strong, medium-thick gel used to create structure, build up the apex, and straighten the natural nail shape. It must be applied over a thin layer of ICON Base Gel, which is used as the first layer after prepping the nail with ICON Dehydrator and non-acid primer. Builder gel provides greater strength and durability compared to base gel or rubber base, making it ideal for longer-lasting enhancements. It can be used under Gellak color for a strong, structured manicure. Its medium-thick, self-leveling consistency allows for precise shaping and a smooth, even finish.

How to Use

Prep the natural nail: push cuticles, shape, buff, and cleanse. 

  1. Apply ICON DEHYDRATOR and ICON ACID-FREE PRIMER.
  2. Apply a thin ICON BASE GEL layer. Cure.
  3. Apply a slip layer of ICON BUILDER GEL (do not cure).
  4. Apply the builder layer, sculpt the desired apex/architecture. Cure.
  5. Cleanse, file, and refine for perfect shape.
  6. Finish with ICON TOP COAT / STRONG TOP COAT / RUBBER TOP COAT. Cure.
