ICON by Elena Base Gel

ICON Base gel is used as the first layer in nail enhancements, applied after prepping the nail with a dehydrator and a non-acid primer. It’s a thin, liquid-like product that provides strong adhesion for the following layers. Base gel is essential before applying builder gel, strong builder gel, or even poly gel, helping these thicker products bond better to the natural nail. It can also be used under gel polish (gellak) colors and plays a key role in building up the nail apex when needed. Its lightweight formula ensures flexibility while still offering a durable foundation

How to Use

Prep the natural nail: push cuticles, shape, buff, and cleanse. 

  1. Apply ICON DEHYDRATOR and ICON ACID-FREE PRIMER.
  2. Apply a thin ICON BASE GEL layer. Cure.
  3. Apply a slip layer of ICON BUILDER GEL (do not cure).
  4. Apply the builder layer, sculpt the desired apex/architecture. Cure.
  5. Cleanse, file, and refine for perfect shape.
  6. Finish with ICON TOP COAT / STRONG TOP COAT / RUBBER TOP COAT. Cure.
